This summer, The Tree of Life is screening with a live score from a 100-piece orchestra:
In June, Wordless Music and the National Concert Hall in Dublin present the world premiere of THE TREE OF LIFE, written and directed by Terrence Malick, with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra and choir performing live to a full screening of Malick’s 2011 masterpiece.
Winner of the Palme d’Or at Cannes, THE TREE OF LIFE was chosen by Roger Ebert as one of the ten greatest films of all time in Sight & Sound Magazine’s 2012 critics poll, and by over 300 critics and writers last year as the best film of the decade so far.
In Dublin, a 100-piece orchestra and choir (led by conductor Ryan McAdams) will perform music by Bach, Couperin, Mozart, Berlioz, Brahms, Smetana, Mussorgsky, Mahler, Holst, Górecki, Tavener, Giya Kancheli, Barry Guy, and Zbigniew Preisner.

Nature only wants to please itself. Get others to please it too. Likes to lord it over them. To have its own way. It finds reasons to be unhappy when all the world is shining around it.
